On behalf of the NMA Chairman, Dr Usha Anenga, SOC and members, we congratulate the Benue State Governor, His Excellency Samuel Ortom and the Honourable Commissioner of Health and Human Services, Dr Joseph Ngbea, over the recognition award of best performing State in Routine Immunization in the North Central Zone of the Country.
The award was presented by the National Primary Health Care Development Agency, NPHCDA during an event to mark the 2022 African Vaccination Week and the third anniversary of wild polio eradication in Nigeria at the Ladi Kwali Hall of Sheraton Hotel, in Abuja earlier today.
This award is a testimonial of the efforts of Governor Samuel Ortom, the Honourable Commissioner, and indeed all health workers and stakeholders who have worked round the clock to reposition and improve the indices of the healthcare sector in the state.
