NEWS UPDATE
Earlier today, the Chairman, Dr Ushakuma Anenga led the SOC on a visit to the provost of the College of Health Sciences, Benue State University Makurdi, Professor Linus Chia Saalu, in what was a homecoming for the Chairman being a graduate of the institution.
The Chairman appreciated the provost for his efforts which had resulted in the expansion of undergraduate and postgraduate training.
He asked for the support of the provost in solving some of the welfare challenges doctors in the institution were facing including the implementation of CONMESS for doctors in academics.
Responding, Professor Saalu congratulated and eulogies the newly elected officials of NMA for good take-off and pledged to give his support to the Association as always. He also promised to look into the issues raised to bring about lasting solutions.
